This week has been a rather bad one for me. Right after I published my blog on February 3, my sister had a really bad cramp. Both her legs were affected and in a way I've never seen or experienced before. To illustrate the seriousness of her sickness, the lower part of her leg stayed in a straight line with her upper part of her leg when I lifted her thigh up. After massaging and attempting to bend her knees to soothe her muscles to no avail, we sent her to KK Hospital. She cried all the way because of the pain and I felt really sorry for her. She was immediately admitted into a ward though the doctor thought she was feigning sickness. This shows the complicity and severity of her illness as even the doctor had never seen or heard of her condition before. My parents and I went home after that. I received no news of her until the next day while I was learning to play the guitar at the church office. My mom was in tears when she told me that the doctor had diagnosed her with ascending paralysis. Something was apparently wrong with her nerves which would lead to the ascending paralysis of her body. And when it reaches her heart, my sister would die. Thoughts of losing my only sibling and being an only child again struck my mind. I never felt as sad and lonely as I did at that moment. Guilt flooded me as I thought of the brother I was to her. I used to dislike her and never treated her like a real, good brother should. But then, a miracle from God happened. Word of her condition passed from mouth to mouth, and everyone who knew of it prayed for her. Pastors from my my mom's church and mine as well came and laid hands on my sister in prayer. My sister was healed instantaneously and a full body check-up revealed no trace of ascending paralysis. And to those who doubt my words, remember this. The Bible says that a wicked and adulterous generation looks for signs and miracles. But I tell you that you are wicked, adulterous and really retarded if you think that her healing was not from God. Atheism is actually a form of psychological disorder and mental retardation. This was the first time I saw the miracle of healing, the power of prayers and also the power and authority we Christians have over demons. I just want to take this opportunity to thank all those who prayed for my sister and encouraged me in this time of difficulty. Most importantly, I would like to thank God, who healed my sister and encouraged and accompanied me in times of difficulty like no man or woman or Earth can. God's truly Jehovah Rapha and Jehovah Jireh, the God who heals and provides. Thank You God and may this testimony bring people from the Valley of the Shadow of Death to the Valley of Your Great and Holy Light. God bless this world...
